Fraudulant Company Out of India Engages in Blackmail

This site has researched and provides information about a website claiming to highlight individuals who have engaged in illegal activities with prostitutes.

Exposingjohns.com is a site that claims to create fake prostitute profiles on sites like craigslist.com and backpage.com. When an individual sends a text response to these fake profiles, they are then used to create a profile on the website. The individual is then allowed to pay upwards of $500 to have the profile removed. There are a number of issues with this approach of profiling individuals.
1. Some individuals share their phone lines and a famil line is under one name (not the individual who engaged in the criminal activity)
2. Information is assumed and the individual highlighted might not be the individual who engaged in this activity
The bigger issue, and the element this watch group has uncovered is anyone can post informtion about an individual. We have encountered 17 individuals who have had former girlfriends, ex wifes and two cases of former employers post fraudulent infromation about individuals on this site who have never engaged in the criminal activity they are accused of committing. The biggest challenge is that the company is owned by an Indian company, called NetIndia
